Course Overview
FOLD is an organizational development and leadership course that focuses on three major aspects:- Facilitation skills,
- Transformational leadership skills and
- Organization development consultancy.
The course runs in three modules, over a span of 6-8 months (physical meetings are only three weeks in total, in a span of two months each). Leadership development through FOLD is done mainly through self-development exercises that enable participants to open-up their leadership experiences, see their own leadership questions, take responsibility, and plan action steps for improvement or change in their leadership practices.
The modules are designed to support leaders to explore broad areas such as.
- Understanding complexity in organizations
- Understanding how organizations change over time and leadership qualities needed to guide them through the different transitions,
- Leadership skills for sustaining collaboration in teams and across organization boundaries,
- Essential mentoring skills,
- A whole range of skills and awareness for conscious use of self by leaders as they relate with the situations they support.
